What's involved
How We Handle Track Detailing
Tracks are where everything ends up. Sand, dead bugs, pollen, and lint compact down into the channel until it turns into a grey paste, and once it hardens the window stops sliding smoothly and the weep holes stop draining. In Florida that second part matters more than people realize: a blocked track holds water against the frame after every storm, and standing water in a track is how you end up with mildew and, over years, damage to the frame itself.
Track detailing is genuinely separate work from cleaning the glass, which is why we list it on its own. We brush the loose sand and debris out of the channel first so it lifts away instead of turning to mud, then scrub the compacted material with water, work into the corners where it packs hardest, and wipe the channel dry. The weep holes get cleared so the window drains again.
