Meet the Pelican Team
Pelican Exteriors was founded by Gavin Meltcher and is run by a small team of local USF students. We're locally operated, hands-on, and focused on giving every property the attention we'd expect at our own home.
We use professional, commercial-grade equipment and train our team to a consistent standard. By keeping our operation small and intentional, we're able to focus on quality, communication, and the details of every job, not just getting to the next appointment.

How we work
Pure Water, Not Just Soap and a Rag
Exterior glass gets cleaned with a water-fed pole running on pure water. Tap water goes through reverse osmosis and deionization until there are essentially no dissolved minerals left in it, which matters for one specific reason: water with nothing in it dries without leaving anything behind.
No spots, no soap film, and nothing left on the glass for dirt to grab onto next week. It also means we reach second and third stories from the ground instead of leaning ladders against your gutters and screens.
Interior glass is the opposite approach: squeegee by hand, slower and more controlled, with everything under the window protected before anything gets wet.
Why it matters
Cleaning Costs a Fraction of Replacing
Windows are one of the most expensive things on a house to replace, and in Florida it isn't close. Impact glass is required across most of Tampa Bay, which puts replacement in a different price class than the national averages you'll find online.
Regular cleaning is the cheapest thing you can do to put that off. Hard water and salt left sitting on glass for a year or more stop being a surface film and begin etching into the glass itself, and once that happens no amount of cleaning brings it back. At that point the only fix is replacement.
A full-home cleaning costs roughly 1 to 5% of what replacing that same window would cost.
