Predominantly 1960s through 1980s ranch and split-level homes, many single-story, with a scattering of newer rebuilds. The original stock often still has its aluminum single-pane windows, and lakefront properties on Lake Carroll have added large rear glass over the years.

Shaded, perpetually damp north elevations here also grow a light algae film that a rinse will not touch.
